Hi, I'm Annie.
I started Round Retail because I love fashion, but I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the industry behind it.
After more than a decade working in retail, I saw first-hand how much great clothing ends up unworn, undervalued, or unnecessarily replaced. I found myself frustrated by the options available to shop more sustainably. Luxury resale was inaccessible to me, charity shops could be overwhelming, and most second-hand experiences required hours of scrolling online.
It felt like there should be a better way, so I set out to create the kind of store I actually wanted to shop in: beautifully curated, easy to navigate, full of great brands, things and people.
I started by selling my own clothes to raise money for the Disaster Emergency Committee in 2023 and have since opened pop-ups around London to raise funds and awareness for incredible charities and community organisations doing vital work across the capital.
From homelessness to clothing poverty and food equality, each purchase has helped with unrestricted funding to further their work and has helped thousands of garments find a second life.
My goal is to make shopping second hand people first choice. There is so much good stuff out there, we just need to think differently about how we redistribute it, and that’s where Round Retail comes in.
Thanks for being curious.
Annie
